ARDUINO | led & sound

Over the course of several months in the Art and Technology program at ArtEZ University of the Arts, I explored and studied the technology behind art. I worked with various platforms, including Arduino. Below are some experiments where I controlled LED lighting by programming in Arduino.

Lasersnijden

I used a laser cutter to create cut-out circles with engraved shapes. Stacking these circles forms multiple layers that together create a three-dimensional figure. The sunlight beautifully highlighted the shadows cast on the table. This video was recorded during ArtEZ’s Open Day in 2022.
Here you see the same shapes, but I apply technology differently in this piece. I programmed the LED lights using Arduino code to control their movement beneath the circles, creating a striking visual effect, accompanied by music from Bicep.
Another experiment is this rainbow display that transitions from pink to blue. I then modified the Arduino code so the LEDs respond to the beats of music by Nina Kraviz.

I would appreciate your perspective on this. Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section—your feedback is valuable to me.
