In the Netherlands, the VMBO CPE exam (Central Practical Exam) in visual arts tests students’ practical skills and problem-solving in their field. Passing this exam shows they are ready for further education, internships, or starting a career in their chosen profession.
The CPE also features an eight-page magazine that highlights an annual theme, showcasing how artists and designers interpret it and revealing their creative processes.

Our CPE magazine

My classmate and I were tasked with developing a CPE magazine. Fully immersed in the project, we created an engaging theme -Enchantment- and developed several sub-themes around this concept. We carefully selected talented artists whose work aligned with each theme. The result of our collaboration is presented below.
